I’ve known Kieron for quite a few years so when he came to me and introduced me to Michael and asked me to photographer their wedding I was so happy to say yes!

Kieron & Michael’s Fun-Filled Wedding Day

Some weddings are elegant. Some are emotional. And some—like Kieron and Michael’s—are a non-stop celebration from start to finish! From candid moments at Colwick Hall to an unexpected rap performance at Goosedale, this wedding had everything: love, laughter, and a whole lot of personality.

Getting Ready at Colwick Hall

The day started at the stunning Colwick Hall, where both Keiron and Michael got ready for their big day. There was a real buzz in the air as final touches were made—suits straightened, ties adjusted, and a few nervous but excited laughs exchanged. I captured plenty of candid moments, from Michael sharing a quiet moment to Keiron and Jess getting ready together with a glass of bubbly! Of course, we also made time for some staged portraits, making the most of Colwick Hall’s grand interiors, in the photograph below we staged it so that Kieron and Michael didn’t see each other but were in a photograph together which was awesome to shoot!

A Beautiful Ceremony in West Bridgford

Next, we headed to a charming church in West Bridgford, a place close to Michael’s family. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with friends and loved ones gathered to witness their vows. The moment Keiron and Michael saw each other at the altar was pure magic—a mix of joy, love, and just a touch of happy tears. The ceremony was heartfelt, filled with personal touches that made it truly their own.

Goosedale: Great Food, Big Laughs, and a Surprise Performance

After the “I do’s,” it was time to celebrate—and what better place than Goosedale? The venue was beautifully set up, and as guests arrived, the energy was infectious. With incredible food, heartfelt speeches, and a whole lot of laughter, the evening was already shaping up to be unforgettable.

But nothing could have prepared us for the unexpected highlight of the night—Michael taking the mic and delivering an epic rap performance that had the entire room on their feet! It was the perfect way to sum up the day: full of fun, surprises, and a couple who know how to keep life exciting.

Final Thoughts

Keiron and Michael’s wedding was a true reflection of who they are—vibrant, full of love, and always up for a good time. It was an absolute pleasure to capture their day, and I have no doubt their future will be just as fun-filled as their wedding.
